After the 48th match between R Ashwin’s Kings XI Punjab and Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore, where later thrashed the first by 10 wickets to keep their playoffs hope alive, KXIP speedster Andrew Tye has become the highest wicket-taker in the ongoing season of the league.
Currently, Tye is at the top with 20 wickets in 12 games with an economy rate of 8.02, followed by Hardik Pandya, who has 18 wickets to his name from 11 games.
Royal Challengers Bangalore’s bowler Umesh Yadav is at number three with 17 wickets under his belt from12 games, followed by Delhi Daredevils speedster Trest Boult. Boult has taken 15 wickets from 12 matches.
Mujeeb Ur Rehman is at number five with fourteen wickets in 11 games and Kolkata Knight Riders Sunil Narine is at number six with as many wickets as Mujeed but Rehman’s economy rate is slightly better.
Mumbai Indians Matyan Markande is at number seven and Jasprit Bumrah is at number eight.
Meanwhile, SunRisers Hyderabad’s Rashid Khan and Siddharth Kaul are at number nine and ten with 13 wickets in 12 games.
