In a thrilling match between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals, Ajinkya Rahane’s boys thrashed Rohit Sharma’s squad by three wickets to reserve the fifth spot in the Indian Premier League table at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, on Sunday.

With one more defeat in their account, Rohit Sharma’s squad have slipped to the seventh spot in the table.

Here is the stats review of Sunday’s match:

1- English cricketer Jofra Archer, who made his debut in the cash-rich league on Sunday, took three wickets for 23 runs and by doing so he became the third best bowler on debut for Rajasthan.

2- The first and second spots are reserved by Kevon Cooper’s 4/26 (v Kings XI Punjab, Jaipur, 2012) and Amit Singh’s 3/9 (v Kings XI Punjab, Durban, 2009), respectively.

3- So far, in IPL 2018, of the six 100-run partnerships, three have come from Rohit Sharma’s squad.

4- Explosive Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma is not so productive at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Rohit’s batting average at Jaipur is 5.00.

5- Eight MI batters have been sent back to the stands for a duck — most for any team in the IPL 2018. Of these, 6 players were out on the very first ball they faced (golden duck).

7- Krishnappa Gowtham scored 33 runs off 11 deliveries with a strike rate of 300 on Sunday against Mumbai — the second-best strike rate by any player against MI.

8- The first spot has been reserved by Royal Challengers Bangalore’s AB de Villiers, who had scored 41 off 11 balls with a strike rate of 372 in the IPL 2015.

9- In IPL 2018, Rohit Sharma’s team has lost four matches and all in the last over of the game!
