The Delhi Daredevils on Saturday announced that England fast bowler Liam Plunkett will replace rising South African bowler Kagiso Rabada for the 11th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL).

Plunkett has been signed by the Delhi Daredevils for the VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL), 2018. He has played 13 Tests, 65 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and 15 T20 Internationals matches for England’s national cricket team so far.
Rabada was ruled out of the upcoming season of the cash-rich league due to injury.
IPL 2018 is going to be Plunkett’s first stint in the VIVO IPL. The Delhi-based team had picked Plunkett from the Registered Available Player Pool (RAPP) list.
Led by Gautam Gambhir, Delhi Daredevils will start their IPL campaign with an away game against the Kings XI Punjab, which is led by Ravichandran Ashwin, at Mohali on 8 April.
