Highly confident Chennai Super Kings defeated SunRisers Hyderabad by 4 runs in a nail-biting match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, to become the IPL table toppers on Sunday.

Here is the stats review of the match 20:

1- After playing 73 consecutive innings, Shikhar Dhawan was ruled out of the SunRisers’ playing XI against Chennai due to an injury, on Sunday.

2- Batting first, Chennai Super Kings scored just 27 runs in the powerplay (first 6 overs of the match) — lowest by any team in the IPL 2018.

3- Gautam Gambhir’s Delhi Daredevils had scored 28 runs against Royal Challengers during the powerplay — the second lowest by any franchise in the 11th season of IPL.

4- On 22 April, CSK scored just 54 runs in their first 10 overs – minimum score by any team in first 10 overs in IPL 2018.

5- The second lowest score is also scored by Chennai Super Kings — 56 runs against Mumbai Indians in the opening game of the tournament.

6- CSK opener Ambati Rayudu’s batting average at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, is 78.33.

7- Rayudu has scored 235 runs in 4 innings which include 3 fifties.

8- In IPL 2018, six CSK (Dwayne Bravo, Sam Billings, MS Dhoni, Shane Watson, Ambati Rayudu and Suresh Raina) batsmen have scored fifies.

9- On Sunday, for the first time, star Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar did not bowl his full quota of four overs for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

10- Only two players have bowled maiden overs – Deepak Chahar (CSK) and Trent Boult (DD) — this season.

11- SRH skipper Kane Williamson has scored three fifties in IPL 2018 – 50 vs KKR, 54 vs KXIP and 84 vs CSK.
