In the 35th match of Indian Premier League (IPL), played between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore, MS Dhoni’s side overwhelmed Virat Kohli’s squad on Saturday at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune.

Here is the stats review of Saturday’s match:

1- RCB’s Tim Southee and Mohammed Siraj added 38 runs for ninth wicket – the biggest ninth-wicket partnership for Bangalore in the IPL.

2- The second spot is reserved by veteran Indian cricketers Rahul Dravid and Anil Kumble. The duo had added 35 runs for RCB at Jaipur in IPL 2008.

3- So far, Chennai skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni had struck 27 sixes – most by MS in a single IPL season. Dhoni had hit 25 sixes in IPL 2013.

4- CSK skipper MS Dhoni had 32 stumpings to his name in the IPL, a record that he shares with Kolkata Knight Riders wicket-keeper batsman Robin Uthappa.

5- MS Dhoni (since May 2015) has played 72 consecutive innings without getting a duck in the shortest format of the game and by doing so, CSK captain had taken first two slots in the list of Indian batsmen playing maximum consecutive innings without a duck.

6- Between August 2011 and September 2014, MS Dhoni had played 82 consecutive ‘duckless’ innings.

7- Bangalore have lost 14 matches against Chennai Super Kings in the IPL – joint-most against any side. Mumbai Indians have also defeated RCB in 14 games.

8- So far in the IPL, Virat Kohli has been on the losing side in IPL for the 79 times – second most by any player. The first place is reserved by Uthappa (82 times).
