In the 24th match of the 11th season of Indian Premier League (IPL), Royal Challengers Bangalore’s death bowling woes continued as they lost by five wickets despite scoring a respectable score of 205 runs against Chennai Super King at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, on Wednesday.

Here is the stats review of the match:

1- On Wednesday, Virat Kohli completed 100 matches as a skipper in the shortest format of the game. And by doing so, he became third Indian cricketer to achieve this feat – CSK skipper MS Dhoni is at number one in terms of captaining a side in T20 cricket with 245 matches and Gautam Gambhir is at second with 170 matches.

2- In the 24th match, Virat Kohli completed his 2,000 runs at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium and by doing so became the first player ever to score 2,000 runs at any particular venue.

3- On 25th April, RCB pacer Umesh Yadav completed 100 wickets in the T20 cricket – Yadav achieved this feat in his 100th match!

4- This was the fourth time in Indian Premier League when Dhoni had finished the match with a winning six.

5- Chennai skipper MS Dhoni has become the first player to score 5,000-plus runs while captaining a side.

6- Former Delhi Daredevils skipper Gautam Gambhir is at the second spot with 4,242 runs and RCB captain Virat Kohli (3,591) is at number three on the list.

7- On Wednesday, 33 sixes were hit at the Chinnaswamy Stadium by both the teams – most in an IPL match.

8- This was the third time when MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings chased down a target of 200 or more.

9- RCB had now lost 32 matches at their home ground (M Chinnaswamy Stadium) – Second most for any team. Delhi Daredevils have lost 33 matches at Feroz Shah Kotla.
