Spinners strike for India as South Africa 53/4 in 14 overs

India have won the toss and have opted to field against South Africa in the second One Day International match of the six-match series at SuperSport Park, Centurion on Sunday.

Already 1-0 ahead in the series, Virat Kohli and his boys will be high on confidence and will aim to continue their winning momentum in the rest of the series.

While talking about the second ODI match, Ajinkya Rahane said, “It was a complete team effort in the first match, but we want to start from zero here because whatever happened in Durban is past now. This team is always living in the present.”

Aiden Markram will be the stand-in captain of South Africa team in place of injured Faf du Plessis for the rest of the series.

“I’ll keep Hash [Hashim Amla] close to my side in the field, and obviously other experienced players as well. It’s going to be something very exciting, it’s going to be a new challenge. But it’s a positive challenge to look forward to,” said Aiden Markram.
