In the fourth ODI of the six-match series between India and South Africa, the hosts, already down 3-0, will be looking to stage a comeback on Saturday. The Proteas will enter the ground in pink gear for creating awareness about breast cancer, at the New Wanderers in Johannesburg on Saturday. And South Africans in pink are invincible, records show!
As per a report by Cricket South Africa (CSA), in the rainbow nation, one in 29 women is prone to breast cancer. It is also one of the most common diseases among women in South Africa.

The fourth ODI between India and South Africa also called the “Pink ODI”. The concept of Pink ODI was originated in 2013 and since then five Pink ODIs have been played at the New Wanderers stadium.
And records show Proteas in pink are invincible. They have beaten Pakistan (2013), India (2013), West Indies (2015), England (2017) and Sri Lanka (2017) in pink gear. In last five ‘Pink ODIs’, the hosts have crossed the 300-run mark thrice and 400 once.
So chasing high-scoring run on the ground is no issues for the hosts. And also there is good news for the South African team as ‘Mr. 360’ AB de Villiers is making his comeback in the fourth ODI.
