Former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, captain Virat Kohli and his deputy Rohit Sharma are on the verge of achieving respective milestones in the second and final T20I against Australia in Bengaluru on Wednesday.

With their three wickets win over Men-in-Blue in the first T20I, Australia have already taken a lead of 1-0 in the two-match T20I series. The onus will be on Indian batters to save the series after their below-par performance in Vizag that saw the team post just 126/7 in 20 overs.

Ahead of the second T20I, hard-hitting Indian opener Rohit is on the cusp of becoming the leading six-hitter in the shortest format of the game. The Mumbai batsman is just one six shy from becoming the joint most six hitters in T20I. Explosive West Indies batsman Chris Gayle and New Zealand star opener Martin Guptill top the illustrious list with 103 sixes under their belt.

Here is the list of players with the most number of sixes:

103 in 52 innings: Chris Gayle (West Indies)

103 in 74 innings: Martin Guptill (New Zealand)

102 in 86 innings: Rohit Sharma (India)

91 in 70 innings: Brendon McCullum (New Zealand)

While MS Dhoni is just one six short from scoring the half-century of sixes, Virat Kohli needs two more maximum to achieve the same feat.

Here is the list of Indian cricketers with the most number of sixes in T20:

102 in 86 innings: Rohit Sharma

74 in 51 innings: Yuvraj Singh

56 in 66 innings: Suresh Raina

49 in 84 innings: MS Dhoni

48 in 61 innings: Virat Kohli
