Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh, who once sought PM Narendra Modi’s help in dealing with an alleged incident of racism, looked unhappy with the leader’s idea of ‘one-nation, one-tax’ – Goods and Services Tax (GST).
“While making payment of bill after dinner in restaurant, it feels like state Govt and central Govt both had a dinner with us,” the off-spinner said on Twitter.

Harbhajan’s tweet was a sarcastic remark on the new tax regime which got mixed views from different quarters.
The PM rolled out the GST from the Central Hall of Parliament at 12am on July 1, calling it ‘Good and Simple Tax’.
