It has been extensively reported that Gareth Bale’s transfer from Real Madrid to China Super League has not materialised. This was revealed after Jiangsu Suning, the club which was interested in getting in Gareth Bale, signed another foreign attacker instead of Bale.

There were reports which suggested that Bale might stay with Real Madrid for at least another year. However, it is now being reported that instead of remaining at Madrid, Bale is interested in moving to Manchester United.

On Sunday, both CSL club Jiangsu Suning and Real Madrid failed to reach a mutually agreeable contract. The club had reportedly offered Bale over £1million per week. However, Real Madrid failed to accept the offer as it was not par with their evaluation of the player.

According to a report published in The Guardian, Real Madrid team management did not want to sell Bale for that amount especially, since Bale had cost them £85million when he came from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013.

Spanish news agency Marca has now reported that Bale wants to make a return to Premier League. However, his former side Tottenham Hotspur is no longer part of his ambitions.

A report by Marca claims that Bale is interested in joining Manchester United squad who are themselves running short in attacking options.

It is now being speculated that both Real Madrid and Manchester United will now begin their discussion and negotiations on Bale soon, soon after they arrive at a decision regarding Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba.
