Defender Harmanpreet Singh and strikers Talwinder Singh and Akashdeep Singh struck two goals each as Indian hockey team registered a thumping 7-1 win over neighbours Pakistan in a group stage match of the Hockey World League Semi-finals in London on Sunday.
This was India's third consecutive win in the tournament as they defeated Canada and Scotland in early two matches.
India started aggressive as Harmanpreet found the back of the net in the 13th minute via a penalty corner.
Talwinder capitalised on the advantage as he scored two goals in the second quarter. He hit two field goals in the 21st and 24th minute to extend India's lead over Pakistan.
Adding to Pakistan's misery, Akashdeep Singh and Pardeep Mor scored in the 47th and 49th minute.
The final quarter saw Pakistan scoring a consolidating goal through Muhammad Umar Bhutta in the 57th minute.
Akashdeep struck his second goal in the 59th minute to lead India to victory with a six-goal advantage.
