Erling Braut Haaland continued his dream run at Borussia Dortmund as he scored twice to help the German club win 5-1 against Cologne in a Bundesliga match on Friday.

On his debut last week, the 19-year-old sensation had scored a hat-trick within 20 minutes after taking to the pitch as a substitute at Augsburg. He extended his goal-scoring streak to the next match as well.

Unlike in the last match, Dortmund was leading 3-1 when Haaland came on for his first home appearance. He scored his first of the match within 11 minutes off the rebound of a saved Julian Brandt shot.

His next was an exhibition of sheer pace as he defeated Cologne goalkeeper Timo Horn to send the ball into an empty net in the 87th minute.

Raphael Guerreiro with his first-minute strike and Marco Reus and Jadon Sancho were the other Dortmund players who were on the scoresheet. For Cologne, the solitary goal was scored by Mark Uth in the 64th minute.

On Saturday last week, Haaland came off the bench in the 56th minute with his team 3-1 down. He struck a hat-trick within 20 minutes to inspire his team to a breathtaking comeback and a 5-3 victory.

The Norwegian teenager now has a total of 33 goals in 24 matches this season. He netted 28 goals for his earlier club RB Salzburg before moving to Dortmund at a cost of 20 million euros ($22 million) in the winter transfer window.

Friday’s win has helped Lucien Favre-managed side climb to the third position with four points shy from the table-toppers RB Leipzig.
