Football legend Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo has recently shed light upon his future plans and stated that he could go on to retire from professional football in a couple of years.

“I still love football,” said Ronaldo said in an interaction with SportBible.

“I love to entertain the fans and the people who love Cristiano Ronaldo. It doesn’t matter the age, it’s all about mentality.”

“The last five years I start to enjoy this process of seeing me outside of football, so who knows what will happen in the next year or two?” the five-time Ballon d’Or winner added.

“I’m not a crazy man,” he elaborated.

“I’m not obsessed with training, I’m obsessed with success, which is completely different.”

“I hope to achieve more in football in the next few years, and then I will consider whether I should leave.”

The Portugal legend who has been part of teams like Manchester United and Real Madrid in the past went on to suggest that he might venture into business after hanging up his football boots but wants to emulate no one in particular.

“Everyone has pressure. It’s how you deal with the pressure that matters,” he said.

“It has taken many years of hard work, dedication and passion to achieve what I have in football

“Outside of football I’m not there yet, but I’m a competitive guy and I don’t like to be the number two or number three. I always want to be number one. I will do it, 100 per cent,” CR7 concluded.
