In a recent development, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the appointment of former India spinner Sunil Joshi as the chief selector of Indian men’s cricket team.
Notably, the three-member Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) comprising Madan Lal, RP Singh and Sulakshana Naik met at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai on Wednesday to appoint the new members of the All-India Senior Selection Committee (Men).
Other than Joshi, Harvinder Singh has also been named in the new selection committee. The duo will join Devang Gandhi, Sarandeep Singh and Jatin Paranjape in the selection committee.
Other than the appointments, the CAC has reportedly recommended that Joshi should be the chairman of the selection committee.
