Bayern Munich star player Phillippe Coutinho, who is currently on a season-long loan from Barcelona, has had a good start to his stint in Germany. It is now being reported that La Liga giants Barcelona are all set to take advantage of his form and propose a massive price to sell him in the next summer transfer window.

Coutinho had joined Barcelona from Liverpool in a deal estimated at €145 million in January 2018. However, his performances were not quite up to the mark and thus he failed to cement his place among the regular starters in the Barcelona squad. Eventually, he was drafted out of the team.

Earlier, he was being used as a bait to try and rope in Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) but Coutinho refused to shift bases to Paris. He eventually sealed a deal to Bayern Munich eventually and has been in good form ever since. With his form improving after every match, Barca are looking to take advantage of the Brazilian’s form. The same has been confirmed by a report carried by Don Balon.

The report also claims that Catalonia based franchise believes that his rise in form will see his market value cross over €100 million again. This could be a decent amount to sell him as far as Barca are concerned. However, with a good part of the 2019-20 season still remaining, it remains to be seen if there are any further twists in the Coutinho transfer saga.
