Pace-bowling legend Shoaib Akhtar launched a scathing attack on Pakistan bowlers after they failed to lift up their performance in the second Test as well.
Australia, riding on David Warner’s record-breaking 335 not out, tormented the inexperienced Pakistan bowling line-up and put up a massive total of 589/3 in the first innings.
Taking to his official Twitter handle, Akhtar wrote, “Clueless how to take wickets on these tracks. Waiting for Australia to declare or just gift the wickets. Asay nahi hota bhai!! #AUSvPAK.”

Pakistan bowlers have suffered humiliation in one match after another in their ongoing tour of Australia. Starting from the Twenty-20 International (T20I) series to the first Test and now the pink-ball game, the inexperienced attack has not achieved much success in the tour.
The Pakistan bowling unit that was chosen for the tour consist of three teenagers. 16-year-old Naseem Shah became the center of attention during the first Test but was dropped in the second after a poor performance.
The Adelaide Test has seen another young debutant in the form of Muhammad Musa but he went wicketless in the first innings. Due to the lack of experience, Mohammad Abbas was hastily included in the squad for the second Test, but he too has not proven much effective.
Spinner Yasir Shah has been the biggest disappointment, leaking runs in plenty. The only shining line though has been 19-year-old Shaheen Afridi who bowled in the right areas and maintained some kind of pressure on the Australian batsmen.
Meanwhile, the second Test which is a Day-Night has been the talking point for David Warner’s triple-century. The opener played an unbeaten knock of 335 which has become the highest individual score in pink-ball Test.
