Veteran Pakistani pacer Wasim Akram has compared Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik with the current wicket-keeper and former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni after his match-winning innings against Afghanistan on Friday.
On Friday, the highly experienced Shoaib Malik played a crucial knock against Afghanistan and guided his team to a three-wicket win in a nail-biting thriller. Chasing a modest target of 258 runs, Malik scored an unbeaten 51-run knock even as Pakistan kept losing wickets at the other end to take his side to victory in the last over.
Lauding Shoaib Malik’s efforts, former Pakistan fast bowler Wasim Akram took to micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, “Experience has no substitute… Shoaib Malik proved it against a spirited Afghanistan. Did a Dhoni like finish … when Malik faced a bowler, he had no expression on his face and that frustrates a bowler because he doesn’t know what to expect… wonderful knock @realshoaibmalik.”

You are the best man in the business. One of the best and most under rated finisher in the modern cricket. Keep rocking.
