The line-ups are out and birthday boy Mohamed Salah is not starting

Today (June 15) is also Salah’s birthday as the Liverpool star turns 26. He was expected to start as Egypt’s coach had earlier said that Salah is “almost 100%” fit.

The news comes as a disappointment for many fans around the world who were expecting to watch him play for the first time after his injury against Real Madrid in the CL final.

Although Salah is not starting, he is on the bench and the fans will be hoping that he comes off the bench and exhibits some of the magic he is known for.

Uruguay fielded an expected 11 as Luis Suarez starts upfront along with Edinson Cavani. Juventus youngster Rodrigo Bentancur starts with Matias Vecino in the midfield.
