Omar Al Mohammed clears speculation around endorsement deal

Rumour mills are swirling once again, and this time the news doing rounds suggests a deal between the clothing giant Dolce & Gabbana and the international fashion model Omar Al Mohammed.
The Bahraini model was recently asked to confirm the accuracy of the details being reported. While confirming an “initial offer” Omar denied any sort of a deal. “Offers like these come in all the time, it isn’t necessary for it to become a deal as is. Most of the times it doesn’t materialise at all.” says Omar.
He added, “You have to understand that a brand of this stature has many representatives, photographers etc. Each one likes the work or camera appearance of someone, and when an offer comes in through one of these representatives, it goes through extensive back and forth for mutual benefit adjustments, which I don’t think needs commenting or public discussion”.
In response to the question if he is being offered a 7-digit figure, Omar declined to comment further.

Considered to be one of the biggest offers ever made to a Gulf national, which if true, will set new standards in the region’s modelling industry.

Omar Al Mohammed has previously been associated with modelling assignments for global giants such as Versace and Lexus.
