Zing: A place to give a spin to your taste buds

Zing restaurant in The Metropolitan Hotel has a sumptuous range of dishes. The Zing features some of the scrummy blend of tastes, presentations and your favourite cuisines that would leave an everlasting taste in your mouth.

The décor of the restaurant is itself so appealing that you should definitely hit the place for a luncheon or a dinner. The colour contrast of the restaurant is itself a sight to behold.

The world cuisine menu has been curated by the executive chef, Shailendra Bhandari, who also introduced the new add-on to the menu.

The Zing serves mouth-watering Melting Mozerella, which is a spring-roll filled with Mozzarella cheese and jalapeno which makes a perfect beginning of the meal.

Then there is chicken sandwich made with fine chopped vegetables like lettuce, chopped onion filled with mayonnaise and cooked chicken breast.

Next – and this is one of the recommended – Garlic Cilantro Chicken: a minced chicken dish on sticks served with spicy tangy sauce is best for main dish or even starters. The slightly sour taste of lemon gives a perfect addition to the dish.

Other than that, Zing offers their signature dish and, of course, recommend by Chef Shailendra Bhandari – Khao Suey, a traditional soupy dish. The dish is full of vegetables such as baby corn, carrot, cauliflower, broccoli, lemon grass and what not paired with boiled and fried noodles and tofu submerged in a coconut curry soup. It’s creamy and rich in taste.

A meal is incomplete with desserts, and Zing leaves no stone unturned to end your meal with it. Fire and Ice, a common yet fine dessert which leaves your mouth watering for more, is for those who love chocolate.
