Ingredients:
Chickpeas 1 cup
Corn flour 1/3 cup
Green chillies 3
Garlic 4 cloves (paste)
Ginger ½” piece (paste)
Onion 1 medium (finely chopped)
Coriander leaves few
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder ½ tsp
Garam masala ½ tsp
Tamarind powder ½ tsp
Chat masala ½ tsp
Oil to fry

Method:
Wash and soak chick peas overnight.
Grind chick peas adding very little or no water (as required) to make a fine paste in a food processor.
Roast garlic, ginger, and onion till they turn in slightly brown colour.
Add all ingredients except cornflour to chick peas paste including the roasted garlic, ginger, and onion.
Grind again till coriander leaves and green chillies also become a paste.
Remove the paste from the food processor jar.

Add corn flour and mix well. You may add some more cornflour if you find the consistency of the paste thin to bind and make round patties.
Make small balls out of this dough and press them to give round flat shape like cutlets.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan and shallow fry the patties.
Serve hot with tomato ketchup, salad, and mayonnaise.
You can place the patty in between two bread slices or in a burger bun with some lettuce, tomato, ketchup, and mustard. Adding some cheese and vegan mayo would enhance the taste miraculously.
Have them for lunch or dinner with a side salad and fries or just on their own, simply wow!
