As man’s eternal search for peace and healthy living persists amid the seemingly chaotic existence of modern world, the ancient Indian system of wellness and healing is gaining popularity worldwide.
In view of the need to boost the mystical health system and the objective to promote entrepreneurship in the Indian wellness sector, Mystique India was held in the capital recently.
The event, organised by Bharat Nirman, included “Make In India Awards 2017 ” and the “first Socio-Ethical Fashion Show and Socio-Ethical Awards”, panel discussions, talk shows and exhibition of Ayurveda products, yoga, art, handicrafts and felicitation of individuals and institutions.
“Bharat Nirman is working towards the government’s swachh Bharat programme with yoga and meditation in daily life and taking our heritage to new generation,” said Chief Guest Ashwini Kr Choubey, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare.
Ayurveda, herbal, khadi, handicraft is building people and humanity, the minister added.
“Wellness, meditation and other methods of healing leads to good health, a peaceful mind and eventually builds a strong society,“ Ravinder Bhandari, convener of Bharat Nirman, said.
The Wellness Expo, touted as the biggest wellness show in India, started in 1995 with the support of the Health Ministry, KVIC and ITPO.
