The MarketPlace brings 11 cuisines on your plate!

Each time you step out of your house on a holiday, you have an idea where to hit and what cuisine you want binge on. But some days you are clueless about it; so for those people, the newly opened The MarketPlace in Kirti Nagar is the best solution.

Name a dish and it’s there; it is one of a global cuisine buffet and bar which brings food from different parts of the world under one roof. The place is divided into 11 sections containing varities ranging from Dilli Ki chaat to Beijing’s Chinese to sushi to seekh kebab.

The lavish restro-bar has 11 food stations with a fancy bar called Mrs. Sippy. The place has classy wooden tables and chairs and the cutest corner is the swings and the beautiful turf that add charm to the place. It is like a dream come true for every foodie who hits the place.

Now, let’s talk about food. I started with the ‘Supreme Chaat’ counter which has all time favourite chaats like Dahi Bhalla, Gol Gappas. After that I went to take a trip to the taste of west with ‘Brooklyn Bridge Dine’.

Another high point of the restaurant is the sushi counter and live pasta making, which are impressive to watch, maintains authentic taste and is served fast.

For the authentic Indian and mughlai lovers, they have Angeethi corner where I had Dal Makhni, Kadhai Panner, Biryani, Kali Mirchi Chicken with Garlic Naan.

Then there is Utsav corner which changes its menu every month as an ode to regional delicacies of India. The menu for this month was sarson ka saag and makki ki roti keeping in mind the winter festival.

Shugga is the desert corner which is placed right in the middle. From Indian sweets like gulab jamun, jalebi, gajar ka halwa to mousy pastries to multiple ice cream flavours. At Paan Benras Wala you can relish classic and innovative paans.

The concept bar, Mrs Sippy, is a highlight of the restaurant where I ordered their highest selling drink – the KitKat shake.
