Almost all yoga asanas work deeply on core muscles and the entire body. However, some asanas stretch core muscles and strengthen them. We are sharing a few easy-to-do asanas that can be performed by beginners too. These asanas also give release from constipation, stomach bloating, and indigestion, and also strengthen the abdomen area.

- BhujangAsana (Cobra Pose)
This is one of the most effective and relaxing poses for the upper body. It is a part of Hatha Yoga, where you recline your body backward. It is part of the cycle of asanas of Suryanamskara.
This asana can be performed after any workout routine to relax and strengthen the spine, it stretches, the shoulder, abdomen, and chest, massages abdominal organs, and opens the heart and lungs.
- Dhanurasana (Bow pose)
This is the most challenging pose for the abdomen muscles, it fully stretches the spine and stomach as we bend the back full and hold them with our hands, it is just the opposite of Urdhva Mukha Svanasana. This is one pose that stimulates digestion, strengthens the upper back, and improves posture and hamstrings.
- Ustrasana (Camel Pose)
Anyone having back issues shouldn’t be doing this pose. Camel pose improves the posture and helps strengthen the abdomen muscles shoulders, chest, hips, front of your thighs, and buttocks.
- Naukasana (Boat Pose)
A very effective pose to remove the belly fat and work on core strength. This pose requires you to balance the body at your core muscles and hold the pose for as long as you can. Boat pose specifically works on your tummy.
- Kumbhakasana (The plank)
It is a very famous pose among gym enthusiasts, and the most efficient to build core muscles and strengthen them.
