The Serendipity Arts Festival, an annual multi-arts initiative that takes place in the Goan capital of Panaji, will raise the curtains on its upcoming fourth edition in Delhi next month.

The curtain raiser, due to take place from September 12-13, will launch the festival in the heart of the Central Park at Connaught Place with a celebration of drumming traditions from across India on September 12.

The commissioned project called Dhamaal is curated by Aneesh Pradhan, one of the curators of music at the 2019 festival.

On the next day, a day-long seminar examining contemporary visual arts and trans-media practices, titled Common Ground II: Parallel Migrations will take place at the British Council in association with the Alkazi Foundation for the Arts.

Both events are open to the public.

The curtain raiser will also formally launch this year’s festival, which will be held in Goa from December 15-22.
