Make it a ritual to oil your hair before every wash. Give a thorough massage and leave oil overnight. Shampoo the next morning. Never leave oil for more than a day as then your scalp may start attracting dirt particles from the environment. It will weaken your hair root making them more prone to breakage. Oil at least once a week if you can’t oil every time before shampooing.
Always apply lukewarm oil in your hair from root to tip. Make partitions while oiling. After massage, dip a towel in hot water and wrap it around your head covering all your hair for 15 to 20 minutes. Make sure that the towel should not be too hot as it may harm your hair shaft.
