Middle-order batsman Manish Pandey slammed strokeful 81 runs (not out) as Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) reached 178/7 amid highly-dominating bowling attack by Mumbai Indians in the seventh match of the IPL 2017 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday.

Spinner Krunal Pandya led the charge of Mumbai’s bowling unit as he claimed three big wickets in the shape of Gautam Gambhir (19), Robin Uthappa (4) and Yusuf Pathan (6).

Sri Lankan experienced fast bowler Lasith Malinga notched two wickets, while Jasprit Bumrah took the scalp of the opener, Chris Lynn, to join the celebration.

Lynn, who scored an enormous knock of 93 runs (not out) in the last match against Gujarat Lions, managed to contribute just 32 runs on Sunday.

The 27-year-old batsman from Nianital, Pandey was a sheer delight to watch as he hit five sixes and five boundaries to reach in his illustrious innings in Mumbai.
