Saim Ali, a Lahore-based actor, has been in showbiz for nine years. Saim started his career as a fashion designer since he grew up in an atmosphere of colours, fabrics, and threads all around him as his mother Farah Gillani was a designer herself. “I got my formal training in fashion designing from Dubai. I was doing pretty well but then after a few years, I decided to follow my passion, i.e. acting. I was in the designing field only because of my mother who wanted me to follow suit. Now, I am a full-time actor,” explains Saim.
He started his career in acting with the drama serial ‘Heerí’ for Geo TV in 2015. He also hosted a morning show for a private channel with actress Noor, the same year. He gives credit to Shaista Lodhi for introducing him to TV.
According to the sources, Alabi has decided to launch a new actor for his dream project for B-town and he is none other than Syed Saim Ali. Alabi came in touch with Syed Saim through social media. He felt Syed Saim would be the perfect lead actor for his project as he is good looking, young and versatile too.
Saim Ali also ranked amongst the leading fashion designers in Pakistan, gaining international repute as well. He gets lots of inspiration from his mother Farrah Gillani. He wants her to be around always.
