An alert Rajasthan Police Assistant Sub-Inspector on Saturday saved the life of a man who was trying to board the moving Vande Bharat train in Rajasthan’s Ajmer.
ASI Naresh Godara of Rajasthan Police’s Telecommunication Department was posted at the Ajmer Railway Station during the Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti at the Ajmer Sharif Dargah.
On Saturday, a man lost his balance while trying to board the moving Vande Bharat Express. However, the alert ASI noticed this and quickly grabbed the man and saved his life.
“I was at the platform when I saw the man was trying to board the train which has already started moving. I quickly grabbed him and pulled aside. He didn’t suffer any major injuries,” Godara said.

The video of Godara saving the man from the grasp of potential death was shot on mobile camera by another passenger at the station.
The police officer is being praised for his brave effort and alertness.
The 812th annual Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti began on January 8. The festival is held on the first six days of Rajab, the seventh month in the Islamic lunar calender.
The beginning of Urs was marked after flag raising ceremony by Bhilwara’s Gori family on January 7.
The Urs Jannati Darwaza was opened on January 13, with Urs Chatti Sharif on January 18. The Urs Namaz-e-Zumma was held on January 19.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also offered a sacred Chadar to be placed at the esteemed Ajmer Sharif Dargah.
