Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu on Monday surprised passengers at Kochi Metro’s Maharajah station when he boarded a train for Edapally station.
During the ride, Naidu interacted with passengers. The Vice President was also briefed on expansion plans of Kochi Metro by its officials.

On Monday morning, Naidu, along with Mayor Soumini Jain and other officials, went for a walk at Subash Park, Marine Drive in Kochi.
During the walk, Naidu discussed about important projects like Smart Cities and Metro for development of Kochi with the officials. He also had a brief talk with sanitary workers.
