UPSC CS (Preliminary) examination: The online registration for UPSC Civil Services (Prelims) will end today. The candidates who still have not registered should do so by today at the official website.
According to the official website, “Civil Services (P) examination, 2019-Last date of receipt of applications extended upto March 19, 2019”
The candidates should fill the online applications on the official website-upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in.
UPSC Preliminary examination: Important dates
• Date of Preliminary examination: June 2, 2019
• UPSC Civil Service (Mains) examination: Commences from September 20, 2019
Age limit:
• All the candidates appearing must be between 21 to 32 years of age.
• However, reserved category candidates will get age relaxation according to government norms.
UPSC CS recruitment process:
• The selection will be done on the basis of Preliminary examination, Mains examination and Interview.
• The Preliminary examination will consist of two compulsory Papers of 200 marks each.
• Both the question papers will be of the objective type (multiple choice questions) and each will be of two hours duration.
