Punjab Police’s Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) in coordination with Jaipur Commissionerate Police on Sunday arrested Raj Hooda, an alleged shooter involved in the murder of Dera follower Pradeep Singh, after a brief encounter in Jagatpura area of the city.

The accused identified as Ramjan Khan, alias Raj Hooda sustained a bullet injury in his leg and was rushed to SMS Hospital under police protection. The encounter took place when a team of Punjab Police raided his rented house in Ramnagaria area here, Additional Commissioner of Jaipur Police Ajay Lamba told SNS when contacted.

Two persons hailing from Rajasthan’s Hanumangarh district were also arrested for giving shelter to the gangster Hooda as a tenant and social protection during his stay, said Lamba.

Punjab’s AGTF had got secret information about Hooda’s stay in Jaipur, and this forenoon, with the support of the Jaipur Police and Anti-Terror Squad teams of the Rajasthan police, cops in plain clothes raided his house.
