SAIL announces result of ‘SAIL Swarna Jayanti story writing competition’

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) announced the result of the “SAIL Golden Jubilee Story Writing Competition – 2022” today, which SAIL launched on 27th May 2022, during the current “Golden Jubilee Year” of its inception (January 24, 1973).

The competition was organized in both Hindi and English language on the theme: ‘पिछले पांच दशकों में सेल का राष्ट्र निर्माण में योगदान’|‘SAIL’s contribution in Nation building in the last five decades’.

The names of the winners in the Hindi category are as follows:

1st Prize winner is Dani Prasad Sharma of Bhilai, Chhattisgarh

2nd Prize winner is:  Dr. Kamlesh Gogia of Raipur, Chhattisgarh

3rd Prize winner is:  Ramesh Chand of Laxmi Nagar, New Delhi

The consolation prize winner is: Animika Sahai of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh

The names of the winners in the English category are as follows:

1st Prize winner is: Sumona Rathaur of Durgapur, West Bengal

2nd Prize winners are: Anindita Mahapatra of Rourkela, Odisha, Munmun Mittra of Rourkela, Odisha,  Abhilash Kumar Sharma of Burnpur, West Bengal

3rd Prize winners are: Rajib Banerjee of Ranchi, Jharkhand, Piyush Kamal of Burnpur, West Bengal, Advika Sahai of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh

Consolation prize winners are Laxmi Narayan Mallik of Kolkata, West Bengal, Sampad Mishra of Rourkela, Odisha, and Master Advay Sahai of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

The competition was organized to provide an opportunity for the participants to showcase their creativity and writing skills, in which a large number of participants from across the country participated and showcased the role of SAIL in building the nation and society in the last five decades through their stories.

The winners will be awarded attractive prizes and certificates. All the participants will be provided with participation certificates.
