Residents of Palam 360 expressed their displeasure over the unkempt promises of AAP government in Delhi. They said despite the assurance of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the demands of the people of the rural belt have not been met as yet.

Addressing a press conference here on Friday, Palam 360 pradhan and a rural leader Surender Solanki demanded that the issues of the rural people of Delhi be discussed during the ongoing budget session and the resolved through legislation passed and forwarded to the Lieutenant Governor by the Assembly for approval.

The representative of Delhi’s rural belt has also asked the CM to revise the circle rate and sent the proposal forward to the LG so that relief be given to the people belonging to Delhi’s villages.

Chaudhary Solanki highlighted the prominent demands of Delhi’s rural belt saying that section 81 and 33 be removed and old cases be quashed, mutations be started in rural belt and others.

He said the CM had earlier assured to the rural representatives that the government would call for a session and work on the issues and demands of the rural belt and further forward them to the Centre for approval. Four months have passed since, but nothing was done so far, Solanki added, making an appeal to the CM to fulfill the promises made to the people of Delhi’s rural belt.

Rural leaders, including Chaudhary Naresh Pradhan Ladosarai 96, Chaudhary Dhara Singh Pradhan Bawana 52, Chaudhary Suresh Shokeen Pradhan Nangloi 9 and Rohtas Pradhan Peeragarhi, were present on the occasion along with Chaudhary Surender Solanki of Palam 360.
