Rajasthan CM accepts Chief Whip Mahesh Joshi’s resignation

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has accepted the resignation of Dr Mahesh Joshi from the post of Chief Whip in the State Legislative Assembly.
Dr Joshi submitted his resignation from Chief Whip post before the commencement of the Budget Session on February 2. However, he is retaining his Cabinet Ministry with PHED portfolio in the Gehlot government.
An official WhatsApp group message revealed this.
The Governor designate of Assam G C Kataria (BJP) also resigned as an MLA. Kataria was the Leader of Opposition in the House.
