Giving a bonanza ahead of next year’s assembly polls, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, on Monday, announced to provide cooking gas (LPG cylinder) to every home at a subsidized rate of just Rs.500 against the actual price of Rs. 1050 from April, 2023.
“I will present next fiscal year’s budget in January in which we will bring a plan to distribute kitchen kits to reduce the burden of inflation”, Gehlot said while addressing a public rally to welcome Rahul Gandhi, Congress leader, at Malakhera in Alwar district.
“Earlier people used to be afraid of ED, IT, CBI raids, now they (BJP) are scared of RaGa’s Bharat Jodo Yatra. The roots of democracy have weakened, and inflation, unemployment & hatred have risen tremendously”, he said.
He reiterated the state government would fulfill the dreams of people of eastern Rajasthan by completing the task of ERCP (Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project), and a fight would continue to get its status of National Project from the Central Government.
Meanwhile, CM has approved a budget of Rs.25 cr as share capital to ERCP Corporation. The State Government is working with commitment for the implementation of the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP). For this, ERCP Corporation has also been formed. es
