Priyanka joins Bharat Jodo Yatra in Moradabad

After a break for two days, the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi commenced from Moradabad on Saturday.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra joined the Yatra for the first time from the place which is said to be her in-laws’ place.

The two Congress leaders accepted the greetings of the people from being an open jeep. Later suspended BSP MP Danish Ali also joined them in Amroha.
.
The Yatra in Moradabad city lasted for about two hours from where it moved towards Gajraula.

Earlier, Priyanka was slated to join the yatra in Amethi but could not due to her health problem.

In his street corner meeting, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that he says that India belongs to everyone but raised the question.

“If there is no participation of 90 per cent people, then how will there be progress? For this there should be a caste census. This will reveal who has the most important tasks in their hands,” said Rahul.

Gandhi said that a shop of love has to be opened in the market of hatred. ” A patriot unites the country, not breaks it. We will not let the brotherhood of the country end. Hate cannot be eradicated by hatred. We will not be afraid. We will kill hatred with love,” he stressed.

He also attacked PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Gautam Adani by saying that backward people and Dalits are not getting justice in this government. The purpose of starting Agniveer Yojana was to benefit an industrialist, he said.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in her address said: “The dream of the youth has been shattered after the police recruitment exam paper was leaked in UP. The Congress had made a complete plan for this in the manifesto for the assembly elections. Today the government has no plan.”

Priyanka said the Lok Sabha elections are coming again but this time you have to cast your vote thoughtfully. “The BJP government is in power at the Centre and in the State. But unemployment is continuously increasing in the state. Farmers were agitating earlier also and are protesting now. Till date, they are not being heard,” she said.

Priyanka said: “Today the real problem is inflation and unemployment. Papers are continuously being leaked in the state. Young people work hard. Study day and night, pay fees, still not getting employment. Brass factories are established here in Moradabad. Today the brass industry has not progressed. The government did not provide any help and has imposed GST on top of that. This has halved the work.”

During the Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra, Priyanka Gandhi also asked in the public meeting: “What is the condition of the people of her in-laws’ city? Meeting you after two years. Nothing has changed here in the past years. When the public meeting was held two years ago, assembly elections were about to take place. You people made Yogi ji win. The problems you had then have not changed.”

Tomorrow, the Yatra will reach Agra where Samajwadi Party President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav will join them. From Agra, the Yatra will enter Rajasthan.
