Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday prayed for the “long life and good health” of Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhra Raje Scindia on her birthday.
In a tweet, Modi said: “Birthday greetings to Rajasthan CM @VasundharaBJP Ji. In her long political career, she has assiduously served the people of Rajasthan and our nation.”
“May Almighty bless her with a long life and good health,” he added.
Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman too wished Scindia.
“Warm greetings and good wishes to Rajasthan Chief Minister Smt. @VasundharaBJP on her birthday today. I pray for her long and healthy life in the service of Rajasthan state and its people,” Rajnath tweeted.
Jaitley said: “I convey my best wishes to Vasundhara Raje ji, Chief Minister of Rajasthan, on her birthday. May God bless her with a long, healthy and successful life.”
While, Sitharaman tweeted: “Many many happy returns of the day Vasundhara Raje . What a coincidence that it is on International Women’s Day. Prayers for your good health and happiness.”
Born on March 8, 1953, Vasundhara Raje, is the first female Chief Minister of Rajasthan, first elected to the post in 2003.
The 61-year-old leader was re-elected to the post in 2013 and at present is the 13th chief minister of the state.
