Haryana Chief Minister (CM) Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday said the Prime Minister Narendra Modi would inaugurate Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway and Ballabhgarh Metro Link and lay foundation stone of Haryana Vishwakarma Skill University, Dudhola, Palwal on 19 November.
On this day, the Prime Minister will address a public meeting near Farukhnagar crossing where he would dedicate various projects to the state, the CM said while speaking to reporters at Karnal on Tuesday.
He said that the present state government has carried out equitable development in the state in last four years without any discrimination. He said that soon civic elections would be held in Hisar, Rohtak, Panipat, Yamunanagar and Karnal.
Khattar said that Haryana bagged first place in the country in Haryana Gramin Swachh Survekshan-2018 and Karnal city bagged first place in the state in urban ranking and 42nd place in the country.
He said that the aim of the government is to take Karnal to number 10 for which cooperation of people is required. He said that in order to give the message of cleanliness on ‘Gurupurab’ on November 23, 11,000 lamps would be lighted in 20 schools of 20 wards of Municipal Corporation Karnal on the eve of 22 November.
A Swachhta Rally would be organised on this occasion. This function would be organised from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. He said that officers of Municipal Corporations of Karnal and Panipat have been working to make both the cities ‘Dustbin Free’.
The CM informed that he had visited about nine places in the Karnal city to take stock of cleanliness arrangements and issued necessary directions to officers. Replying to a question regarding development works in Karnal, the CM said that various development works such as drainage of water, sewerage system, construction of roads and installation of tiles have been carried out.
On being asked to comment on question of Delhi CM, Kejriwal to visit and see dispensary in Haryana, he said that the Delhi CM should worry about Delhi and not interfere in other states. If there is any issue in Delhi and Haryana Government could fix it then Kejriwal should inform him through a written communication. The matter would be considered, he added.
Replying to a question related to management of Kalpana Chawla Medical College, the CM said that directions have been issued to Deputy Commissioner to constitute an advisory committee of retired doctors and get information on possible improvements. Their report would be considered, he added.
