PM Modi dives into Arabian Sea to pray at the ‘immersed city of Dwarka’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday dived into the Arabian Sea and prayed at the site of the submerged city of Dwarka. Sharing the pictures of his visit on social media, Modi said that he felt connected to the ancient era of spritual grandeur.

“To pray in the city of Dwarka, which is immersed in the waters, was a very divine experience. I felt connected to an ancient era of spiritual grandeur and timeless devotion. May Bhagwan Shri Krishna bless us all,” Modi wrote on X.

The ancient city of Dwarka is linked with Bhagwan Shri Krishna and was a hub of grandeur and prosperity during the Dwapara Yug.

According to an official statement shared by news agency ANI, “For PM Modi, this was not just a journey through the waters but a passage through time, evoking the city’s glorious past and its association with one of the most revered Gods of Hinduism.”

The prime minister paid homage to Dwarka, a city that continues to captivate imaginations with its rich cultural and spiritual legacy.

Modi also offered peacock feathers as tribute during underwater visit to the immersed Dwarka city.
