Piyush Goyal encourages filmmakers to use railways for promotion

In a tweet on Wednesday, Union minister of Railways and Commerce Piyush Goyal lauded the idea of Indian Railways to invite filmmakers to promote their cinema projects on trains. He himself invited filmmakers to use the medium of railways to reach out masses, using a ‘Promotion of Wheels’ scheme.

“Railway’s Novel Idea of Promotion on Wheels: A special train will be travelling from Mumbai to Delhi on 16th-17th October, to promote the upcoming film, Housefull 4, along with the film’s team. I encourage more filmmakers to use this route to reach out to the masses,” wrote Goyal on Twitter.

In a special train called Housefull 4 Express, a special team of the upcoming film ‘Housefull 4’ was travelling from Mumbai to Delhi for the promotion of the movie on October 16. The train is scheduled to arrive at New Delhi Railway Station on October 17 morning.

The stars of the movie, Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda and Pooja Hegde, were accompanied by the crew along with producer Sajid Nadiadwala.

The comedy film based on the reincarnation story, produced by Nadiadwala Grandson, is slated to release on October 25.
