As Parliament Session begins on Friday, The Consumer Affairs Minister Ram Vilas Paswan on Friday introduced a Bill in the Parliament that would protect the interests of the consumers.
The Bill, which was introduced during the Parliament Session in the morning, proposes stricter action against misleading advertisements and food adulteration.
Paswan also withdrew the Consumer Protection Bill, 2015 and introduced the Consumer Protection Bill, 2018, which would amend the Consumer Protection Act, 1986.
The New Delhi International Arbitration Centre Bill was also introduced during the Session.
