The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will lay siege to the Kerala Secretariat on October 30, demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan “as he is behind all the scams and corruption that took place in the state.”
Speaking to mediapersons after a meeting of the NDA partners in Kochi on Monday, BJP state president K Surendran said that Chief Minister Vijayan is found involved in all the alleged corruption and scams that had taken place in Kerala.
He said the NDA holds the view that Chief Minister Vijayan should resign as it is clear that he is behind all the scams and corruption that took place in the state.
Surendran said that the NDA would hold 2,000 campaign meetings at panchayat and area levels in the state from November 10 to 30, highlighting the development achievements of the Central government and pointing out the mismanagement of the state government.
Another campaign ‘Janajagratha padayatra’ would be launched in December-end 2023 against “the anti-people policies” of the Kerala government, he said. A state-level workshop of the alliance would be held at Cherthala on November 6, Surendran further said.
