Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to tour Uttarakhand this month. With Lok Sabha elections round the corner, the visit of the PM is considered to be a crucial one.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat is also all set to arrive in Dehradun this week.
Uttarakhand BJP media in-charge Dr Devendra Bhasin said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi can tour Ruderpur to participate in a programme on February 14. The BJP is working on the plan and waiting for the final approval.”
Very recently, BJP chief Amit Shah was in Dehradun to interact with booth-level workers of the party and the tour of Narendra Modi will put the saffron party fully into election mode.
In the election season, all eyes are on the tour of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat to Dehradun. Bhagwat will be arriving for a four-day stay in the state capital on February 5. RSS Uttarakhand head Shashikant Dixit said, “Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat will be meeting educationists, cultural activists, writers, and social workers during his Dehradun tour.”
