Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday complimented the House for completing all the listed business for the Zero Hour for first time in years.
“Today we created a small history. We were able to dispose of all Zero Hour submissions as well could take up a few Special Mentions,” Naidu said at the completion of the Zero Hour.
“In fact I allowed one more submission above 10,” he added.
Naidu asked the Members to keep up the same in future too.
Earlier, he reprimanded the Members for “constantly” talking with each other.
“Some members keep talking with each other. I noticed this even when I was reading the obituary references. Sometimes the mic gets on automatically and the voice comes out. This does not send a good message, so please don’t do this,” he said.
