The iconic Mughal Gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan will remain shut for two days, starting Monday, ahead of the US President Donald Trump’s visit to India.
Mughal Gardens which attracts many visitors in this season forms the third circuit of the Rashtrapati Bhavan tour.
According to the press release issued by President’s Secretariat, the Mughal Gardens will not be open for public and general visitors on February 24 since Monday is a maintenance day.
The next day on Tuesday, it will be closed in view of President Trump’s engagements in the national capital as part of his two days visit.
Mughal Gardens will be open for the general public from February 26 at 11 am onwards.
President Ram Nath Kovind also informed about the closure on Twitter.

The US President along with his wife Melania Trump, daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner is visiting India on February 24 and 25.
They will spend the first day of the trip to Gujarat’s Ahmedabad and Uttar Pradesh’s Agra before moving to Delhi for official reception and bilateral talks.
