MBA student jumps off her PG building to death in South Delhi

A 23-year-old MBA student from Gujarat, reportedly committed suicide by jumping off from a building in South Delhi, after having some altercation with her alleged boyfriend.

The incident took place in the evening of December 13, when information about the incident was passed on to Mehrauli Police Station.

On receiving the information, a police team reached the spot and took the victim to the nearby Max Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Police have preserved the body in the mortuary for the post-mortem examination. Her parents have been informed about the incident.

The deceased has been identified as Twinkly, 23, a native of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. She was residing along with two other girls on rent in one flat in A-Block, Freedom Fighter Colony located in South Delhi. All the three of them were pursuing MBA from an institute located near Batra Hospital, Delhi.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (South Delhi), Chandan Chaudhary said that a PCR call was received on Tuesday at about 7 pm that one girl had jumped off from the roof of 3rd floor of a building in the Freedom Fighter Colony.

Immediately a police team reached the spot and took the victim to a nearby hospital, where she died of her injuries.

During preliminary inquiry, it was found that the deceased Twinkle had some issues with a boy named Karan, a native of Kota, Rajasthan, who was a classmate of the deceased. Parents of the girl living in Ahmedabad have been informed. Further enquiry is being conducted.
