Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has said that the government will soon bring a regulation to close liquor bars and clubs before midnight to check illegal activities and nuisance in public created by drinkers.
Liquor bars have been opened in every lane in all cities and towns, and are open the whole night which is not good for youth and families, Chief Minister Gehlot told a press conference after the conclusion of 2-day long ‘Chintan Shivir’ at OTS campus.
Similarly, the government has ordered no liquor sale after 8 pm in the state, and the concerned police station SHO will be responsible for the execution of the order, failing which strict action would be taken against him, said Gehlot.
“Rajasthan government will also take action against those officials who do not implement government schemes properly. They can also be expelled from service,” he said.
Simply, a suspension or an APO order is not sufficient against such employees if found guilty, he said while referring to the state government’s campaign of ‘Prashashan Gaon Ke Sang and Prashashan Sharon Ke Sang’ in which some employees were not taking interests.
