The team members appointed by the KPCC to investigate the controversy surrounding the suicide of NM Vijayan, former treasurer of the Wayanad District Congress, on Wednesday paid a visit to the family members of former DCC treasurer and his son Jijesh, who recently committed suicide.
The team, comprising veteran Congress leader Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, KPCC working president T N Prathapan, political Affairs Committee member Sunny Joseph and KPCC general secretary K Jayanth visited Vijayan’s son Vijesh and daughter-in-law on Wednesday.
After meeting the family members, Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan told the media that all the issues between the family and the party had been settled once and for all.
Later, Vijesh, son of late NM Vijayan, told the media that they were still with the Congress party, his father’s party.
